Elizabeth Arden Lipsticks... (bargain purchase!)

If you read my blog you will know that my biggest obsession is Lipsticks.  If I go into Boots or Superdrug for anything I always end up putting a lipstick in my basket.  So the other day when I went into TK Maxx of course I could not refuse this bargain.

The lipsticks were reduced to £16.99 for the set. Considering individually each one is priced at £21.00 I would say that is quite the bargain! They are beautiful shades and apply amazingly well, so I am so pleased with my little purchase.

I am always popping into TK Maxx when I go into town to see what beauty bargains they have, and it is amazing what you can find so is always worth a look! I hope you enjoyed this little post.  Comment below if you picked up any beauty bargains in the sale recently.

My New Hair

So with it being summer I decided to have a bit of a hairstyle change. I have had my hair its natural colour for about and year and decided to change it up a bit. Originally I only wanted to go a bit blonder. However ended up with very blonde hair. It's taken me time to get used to it but I am in love with it now.

Let me know what you think in the comments below :)

Barry M Lip Paint Review

I am one of those girls that is always buying new lipsticks. I'm a student so I tend to stick within the high street brands range, however I have never found a cheap lipstick that lasts all night. Until now.....

The Barry M lip paints were recommended to me by a friend so I decided to purchase one in the shade 52. It's a gorgeous bright pink that is almost a neon colour. I decided to wear it out on a night out a few days ago and I have to say this product did not disappoint.

The lip paints lasted all night and I did not have to reapply even after eating. I am amazed about how good these lipsticks are and will certainly be purchasing more. The only downside for me is the names of each shade, the lipsticks are numbered which in my opinion isn't very creative. However this is now my new favourite lip product.

I hope you enjoyed this review, please comment your thoughts below and follow my blog.

Beauty Haul : Beauty Favourites

Since my last post was all about fashion, I thought I would do a post showing a few products I have picked up lately as well as a few old favourites.

All of these products have become my staple beauty items for summer, here are my thoughts on each product.

Seventeen Stay Pout Lipsticks - These lipsticks are a definite must have for summer. They are affordable at only four pounds fifty each! The colour range is amazing and I find that they last a lot longer than other high street lipsticks which I have tried. The first shade pictured above is in the colour 'kiss me quick' this is the perfect everyday shade as as you can see I have use this a lot. The next shade 'make an entrance' is my favourite shade. It's a beautiful coral colour which is perfect for summer and looks amazing with bronzed cheeks, 'Delinquent' the last shade is a gorgeous bright pink which looks amazing on pale skin tones such as myself. I would definitely recommend these lipsticks especially if you are on a budget.

Dr Jart, Water Fuse BB Cream - This has become my favourite product for summer. It works as both a moisturiser and a makeup product which provides a nice amount of coverage to help even out the skin tone. This works really well for summer because it is so hydrating and is perfect when you don't want to wear a full foundation but still want a bit of coverage. With an added spf of 25 I definitely think that this product is worth trying.

Collection, Shimmer Shades Blush - I like my skin to look very glowly in the summer so this blush is perfect. I chose the shade blushalicious and I think that mixed together all of the colours work well to give a bronzed glowly look to the skin as well as giving a natural rosy glow to the cheeks.

Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder - I purchased this powder after hearing so may good things about it on Youtube. I think that it works well, however I am not madly in love with the product. I think that this works best when applied with a sponge applicator rather than a brush as this does not seem to set my foundation as well.

Collection, Fast Stroke Eyeliner - This eyeliner is by far my favourite high street eyeliner. It is a matte black which lasts all day long. It is a bit difficult to get off at night, but I still think this product is worth trying. I use this mainly when I wear false eyelashes and want something to help hold them in place.

Barry M, Nail Paint - This nail varnish in the shade coral is an old favourite of mine. It is the perfect shade for summer and works well against my pale skin tone. I will be doing a blog post featuring my favourite nail varnishes soon where I will feature this product in more detail.

I hope you liked this post. Please follow my blog and comment below with any requests for product reviews which you want me to post.

False Eyelash Addiction ?

I am the kind of girl who loves wearing false eyelashes on a night out, without them I feel that my outfit is not complete. So the other day when Boots had a 3 for 2 offer on all false eyelashes of course I had to stock up on them. I love Eylure lashes, in my opinion they are the easiest lashes to apply and you can re use them so many times, so I definitely get my moneys worth from each pair. I decided to pick up a couple of the twin sets for nights out when I don't want anything to over the top. I then decided to treat myself to a pair of Katy Perry lashes which I have to say I absolutely love! I wore them out the other night and they stayed on amazingly well and made my eye make-up pop. Heres a picture of how they looked once I had applied them.

This is the finished look, let me know what you think in the comments below and tell me what your favourite false eyelashes are.

Daily Thoughts...Eyelash Curlers...

Just a quick blog post...I have always be one of these people that thinks I really should curl my lashes but can never actually be bothered to. However the other day I was getting ready without being in a rush and decided to use them. Since then I have carried on curling my lashes every day and it makes such a difference! I would definitely recommend using an eyelash curler just to you can see what a different it really makes!

Daily Thoughts...Natural Collection Moisture Shine Lipstick...

When you're a student spending more than five pounds on a lipstick is not great. I love lipsticks and have quite a huge collection, however since starting university I have bought less and less simply because I spend my money on food, clothes and going out...which leaves less and less for make up. The other day I wanted a pink winter lipstick as the weather is changing, so I popped to Boots and picked up the Natural Collection Moisture Shine Lipstick in the shade cranberry. At only £1.95 I was sold! Since buying this lipstick I have worn it pretty much every day. So I thought I would do a quick review for you guys...

This lipstick is perfect for those of you on a budget, it's not a sheer lipstick and gives a bold colour. It also moisturised my lips really well l so I don't need a lip balm. The only down side to these lipsticks are the staying power, however I find that they last just as well as other high street lipsticks, so if you want a long lasting lipstick then a high end lipstick would be best to invest in. The packaging is simple, its not expensive looking, but as the lipstick is only £1.95 i'm not going to complain. Their are a variety of shades available in this lipstick and I really want to try some more. So overall, yes I would definitely recommend this lipstick for those of you on a budget but still want to update your makeup collection.

I hope you enjoyed this review! I will be reviewing a variety of products everyday this month! So please subscribe it would make my day :)

Daily Thoughts...Rimmel Lasting Finish 25 hour Foundation..

So I am back again with another daily review...

Today I decided to do a quick review on the Rimmel 25 hour foundation. I have been using this foundation for a few years now. This foundation is great if like me you want a full coverage foundation that last all day without needing a primer. I use a powder throughout the day which helps keep it in place and prevent shine if you have oily skin.

When I apply this foundation I tend to use two pumps on my hand and I apply it with the Real Techniques expert face brush. If I am going on a night out I will then use more foundation on areas where I want a bit more coverage. This foundation normally lasts me two months before I need to repurchase it which is amazing, and as it is only £7.99 it is well within my student budget. In my opinion the foundation doesn't oxidise like some other foundations I have tried, which is good because you know the shade that you are applying won't change. The packaging is great for the price and I love how they use a glass bottle which makes it seem more expensive.

The only downside to this foundation is the shade range. It would be nice to see a few more shades as the range currently only does six shades.

I hope you liked this review. I will be doing reviews everyday this month! Please subscribe it would make my day.

Daily thoughts...Bioderma...

So this has to be one of the most hyped up products amongst youtubers and bloggers. I have wanted to see if it is worth the hype for a long time, so a few weeks ago I ordered a bottle.

I was so excited to take my makeup off with it and see if it really is as amazing as people say. Since using it for a few weeks I have to say I am in love with this product. It is great if you have sensitive skin like mine and want something gentle that will remove all of your makeup. This doesn't sting my skin or irritate it, instead it leaves my skin feeling cleansed and feels as if I am using just water to take off my makeup. I use three cotton pads and cleanse my skin three times with this to make sure all my makeup is taken off, I then follow with the La Roche-Posay thermal spring water spray to calm my skin.

I hope you found this quick review helpful. I have decided to start doing quick daily reviews on different beauty products. So if there is a product you would like me to review, please comment below and I will try and review it for you :)

My Thoughts...La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo

After putting off buying this product for a long time I finally caved in and ordered it. I have wanted to try the La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo for ages. I first heard about it when I watched Lily Melrose's skincare video on youtube, and after hearing how much she liked using it I instantly wanted to try it.

I got really fed up with my skin and how it kept breaking out so decided to order it and see if it would do anything. At first I loved it, I felt like it was one of the best products I had ever tried. However I put off blogging about it as I wanted to use it for a few months so that I could give a better review.

For those of you that haven't heard about this product it is a serum/moisturiser that is meant to unclog pores and help imperfections. La Roche Posay is a french skincare brand and seeing as I always here youtubers and bloggers raving about them I thought that this brand would be good to try out.

Its been two months since I started using it...am I still impressed....? I don't think that this product is amazing and it certainly hasn't cleared up my skin. I still have breakouts on my forehead and on my chin. However when I apply it I do feel like my skin looks slightly better. At around 13 pounds it's not a cheap product and I don't think I would purchase it again. However this might change, maybe when I stop using it I will then know if I feel like it is an essential in my skincare regime. I will continue to use this product and see if it does eventually stop my breakouts.

I hope you liked this review and found it helpful...

Please comments and let me know if their are any products you would like me to review :)

And don't forget to subscribe...it would make my day!
