URBAN CITY GIRL...

This photo shoot was inspired by the theme urban and the city. I styled my model in a girly dress but made it edgy by adding some boots. I hope you liked this kind of post. Please comment and let me know what you think.

Summer Season - Bikinis

It is kinda weird that as I am writing this post about summer the weather outside is so miserable and horrible. Last week I booked a holiday to Ibiza and am super excited however the one thing I hate about going holiday is the fact I have to go bikini shopping. I can never seem to find a bikini that suits my small shape and I end up looking really young when I am actually 20! However this year I have found that there have been some lovely bikinis on the high street and in the space of 3 days I have bought three bikinis. I thought this post would be helpful to those who also feel a bit self conscious in a bikini and thought I would show you the bikinis I purchased. These are great for people with smaller chests and who may feel a bit self conscious.

River Island
Top - £20.00
Bottoms - £10.00

This bikini from River Island is so nice. The colour is great for summer and the flower detailing is so pretty. This is great for small chests as it is moulded which instantly gives a flattering shape. You can purchase this bikini here.

Ann Summers
Top - £22.00
Bottoms - £12.00
This bikini is my favourite that I purchased. It is from Ann Summers so it you can buy your exact size which is great. You can purchase this bikini here.

Ann Summers
Top - £13.00
Bottoms - £6.00
This was my bargain bikini which was in the Ann Summers sale. At only £19 for this bikini I didn't feel as bad about spending more on the other two. From the picture is didn't look like the top and bottoms woud match but when it arrived it looked lovely. You can buy this bikini here.

I hope you found this post helpful.

Dressing Room Table...

My bedroom when I am home from university is small so it is more of a dressing room for me with a bed to sleep in. I thought I would do a post on showing how I organise my beauty bits.

My dressing table is my favourite part of my room. I keep all of my most used items on the top which I am always changing. I recently did a post of my favourite beauty items which you can see here.

I got this jewellery holder from a little shop where I live. I think it looks really pretty and I keep all of my most worn jewellery items on display here. I also keep the three beauty products I use daily.

I use this case that my Chanel perfumes came in to store my makeup brushes because I thought it was the perfect size and I love that it is clear.

I hang all of necklaces on the back of my door, I think that they add a bit of decoration to my room.

Hope you liked this random kind of post. Please comment below I would love to know what you think.

Clear Skin ?

My skin has to be the one thing I am the most self conscious about. I have suffered with acne since I was about 14 and have tried many products on the high street. I used to spend so much money each week on various different products hoping it would give me the solutuion I wanted. I am now 20 and it has only been in the past couple of months that I have begun feeling confident within my skin.

I realised that my skin probably does not like having all these different chemicals put on it and instead something with as little ingredients as possible might help. So I decided to pop down to my local lush store and asked what they had for acne prone skin and was advised to try the tea tree water. It is safe to say this is my favourite product that I have ever tried and even though I still have a few small spots now and again my skin has never looked so clear.

I purchased the 100g bottle as it does go off because it is made and best used fresh. At £3.95 it is such a bargain and I have since repurchased another bottle.

Even though I still have a few blemishes I have learnt not to care, because there are so many more important things and half the time the only person that notices is you. So go out feel confident in your skin.

Product Review - False Nails

One of my first posts I made on this blog was about my nail varnish collection. Since then my collection has grown and I have become a little obsessed. I am terrible for biting nails so thought why not get false ones. However being the skint student that I am I opted for some high street alternitves. I popped into my local boots and picked up a pack of there 200 clear nail sets.

My thoughts....

The nails...
The nails themeselves come in a wide variety of sizes which is great! However I don't know if it is because I have small nails but I find myself only using half the pack. However the nails I do wear fit my nails well and are a great length for everyday wear. However if you want long nails I would suggest choosing a different set.

The glue...
The glue comes in a handy pot which is a great size for poppping into your handbag incase you need a touch up. It does have a rather distinctive smell however it soon goes away. Beware this glue is strong, I have stuck my fingers to the pot many times.

Painting the nails...
When wearing these nails I find that my nail varnish applys alot nicer and gives my nails a shiny finish. I wouldn't suggest removing the nail varnish and re painting the false nails because I found that this left weird marks on the false nail.

How long do they last...
The nails last a few days however if I knock one of them sometimes I need to re do them. They are great for a night out as they will last all night. I use the nail glue which comes with the set which is probably not the best so need to try other brands of nail glue which I think will work better.

Let know what you think...
