The Disco Pant Dilemma

 Everyone has been raving about disco pants! I love seeing how people have styled them and I instantly wanted a pair. The American Apparel ones where out of my price range, however I decided to order a pair from glamorous.co.uk. On the website they do say even though they are described as black they are charcoal, however when they came I wasn't keen on the colour of them. They were so comfortable, however I think they will look better if you have a curvy figure.

MOOD BOARD . 1

Since I am studying fashion I am always having to create mood boards for my projects. I also find  creating mood boards with things you like can be a great way to brainstorm a fashion look you want to achieve. I received my monthly Elle magazine through the door so have used it to create a couple of mood boards of the trends I love. I can then use them as inspiration when it comes to buying things for my winter wardrobe. 

Anyone who knows me, knows I LOVE the Gothic trend! Plum lipstick is such an easy way to change up your look. I have recently re purchased a pair of the studded pumps because I wore mine so much that I decided they were too old and battered. I have my eye on these studded Dr Martens! I have a couple of pairs and they are so comfy, but I think the studded ones are amazing. 

 

 I also saw these really cool patterns which I thought were really pretty yet edgy. I'm not sure that I would wear these looks however I think that they are really interesting to take inspiration from.

My New I Love Shoes!

I have wanted a pair of the Jeffrey Campbell Lita boots for a while now. I recently posted my shoe wishlist which featured shoes from a shop called Linzi which sells some of the most amazing shoes. I popped into Linzi yesterday to try on the studded boots on my list and I instantly fell in love with them. With a price tag of £50.00 they are still expensive but they are so worth it. I put them back on the shelf and have promised myself that next month I will go back and buy them, but for now I will have to wait. Linzi also had a sale where I found the same style of boot but they are cream lace. They were £20.00 instead of £50.00 so instantly I decided I was going to have them, and I have to say I LOVE them. They are so comfortable and are great for summer to wear with dresses and then in winter tights and jeans. 

 After purchasing them it has made me want the black studded pair even more!

Shoe Wishlist . 1

I'm not normally bothered about having loads of pairs of shoes, in winter I stick to my Dr Martens because there super comfy and in summer ballet pumps or flip flops. The weather in England is pretty rubbish at the moment so i'm still in my shorts and tights combo, however I am getting a bit bored of my same old shoe collection. I have decided to create a shoe wish list, I normally find things I would like when I don't have the money and then when I do I forget about them. So I am hoping that if I create this wish list then hopefully I will actually save and have these items in my wardrobe. They are all from Linzi which isn't a store I normally shop in, however i was browsing through their website and found that I actually wanted most of there shoes! They had a wide range of styles and offered cheaper versions of the shoes I wanted such as the JC Litas and Creepers.

I recently visited Thailand which is known as the Land of a thousand smiles. I went with my Dad and my brother for around 11 days, we flew to Bangkok for three which was very busy but fun to see the city and then flew to Phuket to relax by the beach for the rest of the holiday. Phuket was beautiful especially the little islands around it which we visited by boat and did some canoeing. Here are just a few photos :) enjoy!
